I guess I could answer rather than just check to see if you are serious or not.

What state are you in?

Do you have it in a cage?

What color is it?

Is it sick? Injured?

It needs rat food which would be a good lab block.. veggies work as well

I'll wait for the answers from hopefloats before adding anymore.
If you can't keep it, you could check your local shelters if they can help you out.

He's serious (as far as I can tell). He's young and found a very skinny black and white rat. Lives beside a vet and the vet examined the rat and said it used to be much bigger than it is now. He will be getting rat food from the vet (it's being ordered) so I suggested he feed whole grain bread and veggies until then and to ask his parents about getting Ensure and/or baby cereal to help him/her gain weight. Hopefully he'll come back and update us and his parents will have a look through the nutrition and habitat sections.
