Help with taming

Good morning,

I got 3 male baby rats (6 weeks old) on Saturday. I let them acclimate for a couple days and then have tried to get them to take food from a spoon (which they did not) and my hand (also did not). Should I leave them alone and speak to them softly or try to get them to eat from my hand still? I have gently pet them and they did not move away. I do not want to scare the babies. Any advice would be great!

At that point, I just keep offering food and talking quietly to them. They'll approach you in due time. It just takes a lil bit.

Thank you! I know they have only been with us a short time and I need to give it a bit. I just thought I would ask. Its been a while since I've had rats.
