A very very special little dude is going in for a neuter surgery tomorrow. As of now, his moniker is "Mini-eye" (I think the rescue is completely burned out with naming their kiddos), but if all goes well, he'll have a new name and a new home with me by this weekend. :dance:

Hehe, its more ... literal than original. He was born with a tiny completely useless eye - a congenital condition I think (micro-eye or something like that?).

Good news! The little dude came through his neuter just fine.

The rescue will keep an eye on him for a week, then I'll get to bring him home!

Weeeelll, apparently the little dude already recognizes "Mini-eye" as his name ... :emb:

So I guess that can be his nickname, but I'll have to wait and see what his "official" name will be. Didn't have a chance to really see his personality during last weekend's adoption event since he spent most of it snoozing on my shoulder. According to the rescue folks though, he's quite the goofball when he's awake. I kinda want to give a pirate-y name ...

You folks will have to wait for pictures too - I neglected to bring my camera to the adoption event. Rest assured that he's cute as a button!
