She is right grumpy little girl... poor thing. I hope she'll improve :( good luck, Jorats knows what shes talking about, have trust!

Thanks guys.

Her cage is totally decked out. Well as decked out as possible for a SP Exotics (hate hate hate those damn cages). I was thinking of splitting my critter nation and putting her in one half, but it seems silly to have 5 rats in one half ad only one rat in the other. I do have a brand new critter nation still in the box....but I wanted to sell or donate my old one and I was planning to use the new one once we got everyone together to make it a nice new neutral cage on move in day. Not sure if that will pan out now or not. Maybe I'll just keep both cages? I don't know...that's a lot to clean. Plus 2 critter nations for someone with only 6 rats seems like overkill. Hmmm....

I would keep her in that SP Exotic cage. I know what you mean about that cage, but with one girl, it shouldn't be too hard to maintain. And that's plenty room for her.

Yeah that seems like the most logical solution. It's not that the cage is hard to clean (though I do hate those shelves) but the problem is that it doesn't give much options for decorating. There's not a whole lot of places to hang hammocks from or other hanging toys. I make do with it, but it's just sort of a pain. I guess it's better than cleaning two critter nations for only 6 rats though.

Ya... I can see you are still thinking about the other critter nation though. lol You'll be able to figure out a good set up for her with the SP cage.
