I am so sorry. You gave him the best chance he had, as he would not have survived much longer without attempting removal. As spaz said, he was under, and felt no pain. I am sorry. :hugs:

He really was lucky to have lived his life - even if a short one - with you as a mom. Not every rat owner out there would have cared enough to try so hard to save him.

Hastings has passed away, I am devastated.... The tumor was attached to his bladder, colon, and intestines. I will do a memorial later but I am too upset now, I really did have hope and now thats gone.

You were a beautiful mom to little Hastings and his death appears to have been the peaceful one we all dream of for our loved ones. :rose:

There is never anything we can do once Heaven calls. What matters is what we equipped our babies with for their journey. :heart:

The grief and devastation we all feel, when we lose a baby, will be compensated for when our time comes.
