I would put him back with his buddies too and just watch them. Otherwise he may get depressed. That incision looks great. Giovanni :heart:

Ok - he's back with his buds. There was lots of excited sniffing. Roger (!?!?!) briefly puffed up to twice his regular size and did the crabwalk at Giovanni. But all seems to be well now.

What a relief! Kisses to Giovanni, poor sweetie. It is scary to think of them getting a wound like that and not knowing how it happened. I try not to leave shower hooks undone, but it happens anyway. This will make me more careful.

That's because they thought Giovanni was a "new" rat. It happened to me too when they were too long in a hospital cage. Thank God everything is ok now.
