I think that Old Man's death was a bit harder on Ron that I originally thought. Today he is sneezing more than normal, and has more than normal poryph discharge.
I don't know how quickly I'll be able to get into the vet, sometime this week, but is there anything I can do in the mean time? I've heard some people use echinetia...
I just don't want to see him get super sick... after old man I don't know if I could handle that.

Unfortunately echinacea really only helps with the immune system to prevent the infection not treat it once they have it however its not like its going to hurt him either. You can just keep him warm and hydrated and if he does decline and have trouble breathing then you can put him in the bathroom and turn on the shower to let him breath in the steam.

ok. I am also now not sure if its a URI. I gave him some benadryl, because I know he's got pretty bad allergies, and he has stopped sneezing. He also is not congested, or gasping for air.
I'm still going to to try to get him in to the vet, better safe than sorry.

If i start all 3 on the echinacea, how should I do it, and how much should I give?

His immune system could be down due to grieving. Echinacea could boost his immune system so it might be a good idea to start it. Keep a close eye on him. Put him up to your ear and listen to his chest several times a day... the minute it sounds to loud, then it's time to see a vet.
