I don't think Ryelle is being at all harsh. She was just pointing out things to do to help make out time safer.

Missing a little something is one thing, but missing something that's clearly dangerous is different. And because this is the same girl that is very ill, all the more reason to be extra careful.

I totally agree, i just thought maybe the chili was tucked away out of sight and overlooked. I didnt realize she was ill either, that's my bad! :)

Yogurt or milk are the classic remedies for overly-hot food. That's why raita (yogurt with shredded cucumber, etc) is usually served with Indian meals.
I am glad that she seems better, but giving her a little yogurt wouldn't hurt.
Absolutely! Any milk-based product: milk, yogurt, sour cream.
Try it yourself next time you have something spicy. Water really won't help that much (aside from the initial wash-off).

Yes, this may sound disgusting, but it's actually great. When I eat something over-spicy, like a chili, for example, I get a glass of milk, a slice of bread, and spread some yogurt on the bread. Then I eat it, and drink the milk. Rice can also help too, if you are eating a spicy Asian food.
It really helped Stella to cool her mouth down from the chili after I gave her some yogurt and muffin.

Tea is supposed to help cool your mouth if you eat a hot curry or something (dunno if you get currys over there lol.. "indian"/asian dish (think the word 'curry' was invented by the english though..make sense? no)), but it tastes AWFUL. Maybe its the milk?

Yes accidents do happen, but they happen even less when you take a glimps of your surroundings and see what's there. Rats can get anywhere, go anywhere, jump anywhere etc etc. Even if you think they won't get to it, assume that they can. That way in the long run you won't have it happen. I never have food around when I have my girls out unless I want them to have it. They are naturally curious animals.
