Fast growing lump on neck

That's exactly how Jasper had his top teeth. I got them trimmed to the gum line hoping to buy me more time in between trims.

Are you sure it's just not the gums that came out too on top of a tooth?

I don'T know honestly. I didn't really touch it. Already hard to keep her mouth opened without her going berserk XD

So the vet would sedate the rat and remove the tissue on top/around the tooth to expose it and that's it?

Oh nooo to hellll!!!! I just noticed this morning a huge lump on Kamchie's back leg! When I touch it, I can move it around, it doesn't seem attached but it's already humongous in size! I guess I'll bring her too to the vet Wednesday X_X The best example of how it feels that I can give is... how a testicle is... >_> You know, the ball inside the sac, how it moves around easily.

I'm so sorry, good luck at the vet. Sometimes those lumps are easily removed. Can you take a pic of it?

Her eye that keeps crusting is on the same side as her lump. It's been crusting for over 2 weeks and it started suddenly without reason. The vet didn't identify respiratory problems in her. Can it be that it was because this lump was just starting to grow inside?

By the way, Kamchie is over 1 year and half old. I don't know her age exactly but Azury (her baby) was born on December 17th 2008 and she wasn't that small so I imagine she was already 3-4 months old by that time... So, she must be between 1 year and half old and 2 years old.

I'm gonna make the link to my vet. Maybe we should've done something right from the beginning. Crusting eyes aren't a good sign. X_X

I don't know if the eye is related to her lump, is she spayed? I hope that's just a mammary tumor.

Oops! I thought it was the one with the teeth issues.
That looks like a mammary tumour. And it shouldn't be related to the crusty eye but the stress of the lump can cause her eye to leak.

No, none of my females are sprayed. But no to clarify things :

I just didn't felt like creating a new topic. Just gonna update them both here.

Do you guys think both should have surgery? =S

Edit : just inspected the lump of Kamchie with more attention and I don't see anywhere where it could be attached to a nipple but we never know, it might still be possible. Actually, I don't see anywhere where it could be attached. It's just like a ball floating in the nowhere.

It looks the same as my Touille's lump, and close to the same place(tho his might be a little further back). My vet also said it's a mammary tumor, tho it's nowhere near a nipple..
