Ok, people I meant to write sternum! I was multi-tasking when I wrote my message...I'm embarrassed. :lol2:

I now have Emma home and is looking great. She also lost a lot of weight - they weighed her this morning at 496 grams and after surgery she weighed 400 grams. Poor baby.

Emma is doing well but won't leave her cut alone which concerns me. All I need for her to do is scratch open her cut! The cut is also a bit red from all her licking. Besides that she's eating well and is quite alert.

Do you have metacam for her, they usually fuss with the incision if they are in pain.
