I am going to hold off on the vet, & give the stronger dose of Baytril a try first!

Hope it helps!

With the bigger dose, you should see improvements in about a week. If not, I'd do zithro, but you'll need to bring down the Baytril dose.

Eve is still on meds since October.

I recently started 2 weeks on, 1 week off

But she is the same, one red eye at times, random sneeze.
Excellent energy, eating well.

she has only ever been on baytril and baytril + doxy.

Right now she is on baytril + doxy ..should I try ZITHRO? ..or is doing this pulse method fine? I have no idea of her age, she was eating a seed food diet living alone when I got her in October. She looks to be older around 2 ..but that could just be because of her history.

Suggestions?

She's only occasionally sneezing and has a mucky eye? I don't know if that warrants continued meds.

Yea, so should I just stop meds all together, and see how it goes?

She does fine when shes off them for a full week.

Yeah, if those are the only symptoms you're seeing, I think it's time to end meds. Sometimes a rat will just have overactive ducts in one eye or something like that, causing them to look ill when they're in fact fine.

If both eyes were mucky I would say maybe continue but one occasionally mucky eye and a sneeze here and there is not worth medicating,. especially since it never responded over all those months. I too would stop the meds.
