Hi, I have heard about how coriolus mushrooms can help to slow the growth of tumors in rats. How do I feed a rat these pills? I crush it up and then what?

What should I mix it with?

Thanks,

Daniel

What I've found is that with Mycoplex Coriolus (500mg) you give one quarter of the tablet given twice daily for 2 weeks to boost the immune system. Then you drop down to one quarter once a day for the life of the tumor.
This should be done in conjunction with Shark Cartilage.
You would cut your pill using a pill cutter sold in almost all pharmacies and then crush it using a mortar and pestle. Mix it in some baby cereal.

But honestly... I've never heard of any successful results using these supplements. :(

Dan, are you sure it's a tumor on your little guy? It could be an abscess which is very easily treated. Add warm compresses twice a day until it pops. Once it pops, you flush it out several times a day until it heals.

You can buy them here: http://www.vitabest.ca/MRL/index.html

There's another type of mushroom that is good for tumors as well. They are called maitake mushrooms and they might work even better than coriolus mushrooms. They are both available at the website above.

I have bought from them before and it was delivered.
