Chronic Resp Issues

Just got off the phone with the vet. there is basically nothing else we can do for her since she has not responded to any of the treatments thus far. Basically it came down to how much more do I want to subject this rat to and I can't do it to her anymore. We will be putting her to sleep at 10 am on Friday.

So sorry. It is hard to see them suffer and be unable to help.

I agree... you have to ask yourself, are you just delaying the inevitable or are they actually benefiting.

Thanks so much everyone. It is easier this time because I have time to say goodbye. I know I am doing the right thing for her and at least I will be there when she passes rather than with Mrs. Sniffles just droping her off and never seeing her again. I wish I could have found something for her but there is no other option at this point. Even cming up with the $30 dollars to have this done is gonna be difficult.
