If the antibiotics are helping then she would need to be on them for at least 6 weeks.
If they are not helping, then you would try a different combo of antibiotics.

Zithro + baytril is a good combo. Here zithro is by perscription and your vet can provide one

Yep, my vet is good like that too. Last time I was able to get a 20 day course out of one script by making it up myself. In the past, my vet has been more of the opinion that things should be fixed in about 10 days on abs but I think now he's seeing that the longer the better, so I may go back and see if we can do it for 6 weeks. I would love to try Baytril with Rose but honestly, it's so stressful for her.
