So I've got a loner girl, Annabelle, who is ridiculously rat-aggressive. Even after her spay, she only mellowed out with me, and not the rest of the crew. Attempts at intros have completely stalled on the "getting used to each others scents" stage. The way Annabelle tears into their hammocks makes me very reluctant to even try "meeting each other in a scary place" phase.

Turns out that the rescue has another loner rat-aggressive girl who coincidentally is related to Annabelle. Is it worth trying to see if these two rattie misfits are a match for each other? Or is the potential for the greatest fight of the century too great?

I think it's definitely worth trying. These two girls need a buddy. They are not trying to break into a group, so maybe it will be easier?
If it doesn't work out, can she go back to the rescue?
Does your girl seem any different towards girls vs. boys? Maybe a boy would make an easier intro.

My girl has a horrible reputation with girls and boys alike! She bit another girl so bad that the poor thing needed stitches, and she completely beat up a neutered male that was twice her size.

Like you said, I'm really hoping that since this will be a one-on-one intro, these loner girls might work out. The rest of my crew just has too many strong personalities.

The rescue is perfectly fine with holding on to their loner girl if this is a complete and utter failure.

just be prepared to house them separate. Some of my girls were rough in intros. I would try long intros on a scary place. Take your time and switch out smells with each cage.
