Easy math though!

So if you have a 136mg tablet and put it into 5mL of water/liquid you get 136/5=27.2mg/mL
If you want it more concentrated, say dissolve in 3mL of water/liquid its 136/3=45.3mg/mL

so the compatible tablet volume would be 5mL per tablet and its still a higher concentration then the injectable
I dunno the prices so not sure which is a better way to go

If you dissolve a tablet, it is only "good" for 2-3ish weeks, the injectable one is good for quite some time (expiry date on the bottle). How much you go through would be important to take into consideration (whether or not you will use the full amount that you dissolve).

Although you probably already thought of that, just wanted to mention it just in case.

I go through a lot. It is 50.00 for 20ml of the injection baytril. 5.00 for a tablet they sell per tablet. I am trying to see what will work better for me and save money lol

Tablets sound like the better deal if you have many rats on it.

If it is $50 for 20mL at 22.7mg/mL for injectable. There is 22.7mg in each mL and there is 20mL so thats 454mg total (20mL x 22.7mg/mL = 454mg)

For the tablets it is $5 per tablet, so you can get 10 tablets for $50. Each tablet is 136mg multiplied by 10 tablets, thats 1360mg total, almost triple the amount of baytril then the injectable kind.

You'll have to double check my calculations as sometimes my brain doesn't work on weekends, but I'd go with the tablets.

That is what i was wondering, I have baytril in use daily, i have a crap load of rats so someone is always on it, a few lifers, and random sores and such. I think i will order some. I could probably mix half a pill and make it last a bit longer rather than mixing it all. If i get more than a few rats that need it or get sick, i go through it so damn fast.

I dont understand what you put LMAO but it seems like a better deal hahaha. I have tried to comprehend that but I just cannot grasp it ever.

Be careful when splitting the pill in half. I hate doing that, I'm always so paranoid that one half will be too big and the other too small and then the concentrations are messed up... ick
