Healing every day...just praying for no abscess to form...that won't be a fun update :(

She looks sooo disturbed amongst her Harlan crumbs

Yep not so happy anymore, being picked up and "interfered" with
Good pic of the underside though.

She is looking a LOT better; amazing how they heal so fast sometimes! I bet that Baytril is helped by Shelagh-scritches and waves of good wishes from all over the globe.

As for crumbly blocks.... yes, there is nothing quite like the combo of block dust and pee to make cage cleaning a treat! You could probably use it to repoint bricks.

ROFL! :funnypost: That was hysterical, Godmother! :lol3:

Oooo that does look good!! So glad she's healing well

Lol godmother! It's a night mare... when the papery litter stuff I have gets wet and dries it goes like paper mache and rock hard!! I love cleaning it!

Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow! I'm glad I didn't see this til I knew she's ok.
Cripes, sometimes I see rescues who should be untrusting and hateful and they are so sweet & forgiving with us (even if itakes a little bitey prelude  )
I get to thinking these kids are so loving and accepting and gentle and then something like that to a cagemate! It stymies me.

ooo nasty... naughty girl.... I gues she got what was coming to her, but it's still not nive for u to have to go through this... do you know who did the deed?

Keep us updated, hopefully it shouldn't be a problem as we know how resiliant these little things are when it comes to physical injuries.

Lookit her chinny n little face... she's all "ah, wai.. no oh, don' touch.. ah... ee...... oo.... mum..... " poor girl x

I fully disagree with you on this Starfoot (still love you though!!!).

From what Lilspaz has said; it appears to me as if she is the one being victimized with being pulled across the cage by her fur! She may have gotten a couple of "chomps" in the face for her pains but at least she defended herself!

The poor, sweet, little thing. I have always been one to defend against bullies. Whoever bit her will probably still remember the reasons for the falling out. Let's hope whoever she is keeps her distance!

Cuddles, kisses and scritches to the courageous little lady! :love6:

It was actually lovely passive sweet Vesta. When Asha goes into her "rage" the other rats are terrified of her and she attacks them first usually. But there's rarely bloodshed, I think Vesta panicked.

She's normally a good little Subbie but when that "other" personality comes out the whole cage is on the alert.

But so far so good, she seems to have settled down again and they are being much kinder to her. When she has her rages they aren't as nice to her on her subbie phase.
