I am not sure when Emma is due, but she's covered in scabs and now I won't be able to treat her with the Revolution I have coming. :sad3:

Can I soak her in oil, then bathe her in a few hours is that enough? I cannot leave her soaked just in case she has the babies, and how warm will they be able to get from oily fur. Poor Emma. :undecided:

I did Piper and all her babies in oil, the babies were only days old, but they had been born....
i'm not sure how to go about this one hun....
i'd say, since most rats have their litters at night?!?! perhaps if we go by that rule, you could give her a nice oil bath in the morning???

could you wait until after the babies are born, then do them all?

Can you let me know how much you soaked them, all the way over her head right? And you left it on and let her groom it off? Trying hard to remember.

I think I will just have to wait and see if she's had or close to having the bubs when I get home tonight. I might wait until they are all older. That just means I am going to have to dose ALL my rats again...since they only have a week of protection left. Sigh :/

I used a syringe to do Pipers head and then rubbed it in around her face. She enjoyed it muchly! lol
I soaked everyone, and let Piper groom it off.
BUT it was lice with her, not mites.... so i'm not sure.
Gosh she's a cutey Shel!!!!
