So I got a message from someone who had an oops litter. Apparently they got my email through the grapevine and have heard that I'm an avid rat lover. They want me to take a look at their litter and possibly adopt. I am thinking about it, but have some questions first.
I know that I need to QT for at least 3 weeks. I have a place for them to be QT'd at (Boyfriend's parents' house), so that isn't a concern. But what precautions do I need to take? When leaving from there, I go to school for about 2 hours and it takes me about an hour and a half to get home. Is that long enough to be considered "safe" or should I keep a change of clothes, or spray myself with lysol? I mean what? I'm confused at this point. I've looked up some info about it, but yeah... LoL
When I DO look at the rittens (there isn't a guarantee I'm going to adopt... or is there? :cheeky: ) what should I look for in terms of overall health? They're estimated at about 4 weeks and I've looked around for ideas on sexing them (although I would appreciate more help, because I don't want to end up with babies later).
*sigh* This is stressful. Lol. I wont meet with these people until Tuesday, so I'll let you know what the situation is.
