They were in the playpen cage together all day so while they were in there I gave the other cage a very thorough wash, changed things around, moved the shelf to the opposite side of the cage and lowered it and added some extra hammocks and a red plastic bin neither of them had used recently. I put a different litter pan in. I want to buy a brand new one or get something that works well as one. I have an old plastic bottom from a small animal cage that has been used by Deku but it's all chewed up. I want something that is fairly low. Maybe a cheap ceramic casserole pan will work. LOL. Or another animal cage bottom. We'll see. Anyway, thanks for just helping me get the confidence to back off a bit. They are in the big cage and my daughter is up there with them. It's 2:27am but at least it's done and we can put away the spare cage and do some major cleaning and rug shampooing in that room. What a MESS!
