so i think jar-jar might have eaten a whole ibuprofen... how bad is that :?
she jumped on my night table to sniff out some orange juice and i saw the pill so i put it on top of the water bottle and took her off. then she jumped back.. i dont know if she just knocked it off cuz it shook the whole table, or knocked it off grabbed it then jumped off. i cant find it anywhere so i dont even know if she ate any.
what should i watch for? is it poisonous, will she get sick should i take her to the vet. ive never even given baby ibu to any of my rats before so i have no idea about it :S

Ibuprofen is dangerous because it thins the blood and there could be issues with bleeding if they receive an overdose. It's unlikely she ate a tablet, except maybe the sweet coating, because Ibuprofen is very bitter. Keep an eye on her, I don't think there's much that can be done though.

The ASPCA has a poison control hotline that you have to pay to use, you can call them and ask for advice but I doubt they would be familiar with the risks to rats. NSAIDs are more dangerous to cats I think so a vet that's not familiar with rats may be alarmed to hear your rat may have eaten a tablet but I think it's extremely unlikely they did.

Would giving her vitamin K somewhat counteract the blood thinning? What about giving her some activated charcoal so it reduces absorption of the Ibuprofen?

I am sure she just nibbled it and carried it off, unlikely to have eaten the very bitter pill. See if you can give her foods with extra vitamin K in it for a few days. Kale, broccoli, etc

oh i would not doubt she ate it. she literally eats everything even if it's gross. she likes to bite chunks of and eat my eye liner and apparently likes the taste of mascara one time she got into my bronzer.
but she seems fine after a long nap.. so i guess it's just lost on the floor somewhere and i need to find it. ill keep and extra eye on her just in case but thanks guys! :)

if you could see how clean my room is you'd wonder how she gets into all this stuff, because it's on top of my dresser. she shimmys up between the wall and dresser. so i'll pull it out so she cant and then she'll try to jump up it. she'll make it maybe once a day. it's ridiculous lol monster is right
i have a few videos of it, ill put them up sometime. it's quite comedic

You can place a piece of coroplast just right to keep her from getting up there. It make some zip ties and binder clips but I do that with my desk. They cannot grasp on the plastic at all. One girl lost her rat from eating nasal spray, it is very dangerous for her to get into stuff.
