When do double rexs loose their fur?

Double rex's are born with their fur and then they loose it right? So at about what age do they loose it? C=

They keep losing it and growing it back, sometimes in patches. They are the cutest. Here's a couple of pics of some I had.

And on the first pic... has the fuzzbum on the right converted to Jewish? Looks like she has a Kippah cap on with her baldness! sweet!

That's Cash on the right. That patch never grew back his whole life. Those ratties are all gone, I took in 5 boys. The last two are girls who were left in a park here.

Oh that's horrible abandoning them like that! I'm so glad they found their way to you... Cash looks so sweet... and what's the name of THE dumbo?? I can't believe how cute he is! If he had been mine I would never have put him down!!! He's so scoopable!!! I just want to scoop him up and scritch him and twiddle his liddle ears!!!

That would be Moses. And the pink one was Noah. I still miss them even with all the other ratties I have now.

It's always so hard to lose them... no matter how many years ago it was, when we think about it, we realise that we never stop missing them. Just another reason rats make such loving pets.

The double rexes in my litter started losing their fur when they were about 3.5-4 weeks old. They are still losing it in some places, now they are 6 weeks old, and growing it back in others.
