Lulla has been sick and I have no idea what it was. Noone at the Norwegian forum knew what it was either so I am hoping some of you have any ideas.
November the 23. I noticed she had gone up 40g in a matter of two weeks. This was strange and so I kept on weighing her every day. Only 3 days later she had gained 12 more grams. She was also keeping more to herself and barely came outside of the cage. The 27th she was just lying in her hamock. Her fur was puffed up and she was breathing heavily. I thought she was giving birth or something and I was really scared. But then, like two hours later she lay flat again and seemed sick, but she ate a little and drank some water. Next day a friend and breeder (she has only had three litters in two years, but then the litter must be perfect
) Anyway she has had lots of rats, and she confirmed that Lulla was not pregnant. Lulla was acting strangely quiet and semmed to be in pain sometimes, though not as bad as that first time. And then, the 29th in the evning, she just seemed to come to life again. She climbed around in my room and seemed completely fine. What could it have been?
