what is on my rat?

So my rat Tip Toe, who is now about 3 months old has a couple scab-like marks on her stomach/underside area. I noticed them earlier, but they are very faint and I wasn't sure what to think of them. I then was looking around the forum and wondered if they might be mites, but she isn't scratching, there are two other rats in the same cage that have no marks on them, and I haven't gotten any new food or bedding recently...

I tried to get some pictures, sorry for the bad quality but Tip Toe wasn't very happy with being held on her back while I took pictures (understandably I think!)







Do you think these are mites, or could she just have a couple scratches? And if it is something, how should I treat it? She doesn't seem to be bothered at all, but I if there is a problem I obviously want to know about it...

check her neck and shoulders for any scabs...if you find any there then you likely have mites.

I did, I thought I might just be missing some little marks, but I wetted her hair and combed through it, and I still don't see anything... They seem to only be on her underside - does that mean it's something else?

could be she's roughly being powergroomed.

ok then, I guess I won't really worry about it, unless she seems to be bothered...
