What do you fasten the liners with?

i use the same little clips that are on the side of the levels for my cage though i still don't have my boys home so i wouldn't be able to tell you if it works well yet, i don't know what they are called they are some kind of paper clips that i had left over at home.

Those are binder clips, like this:

I don't fasten mine on, as long as they are flat and fitted to my trays, my rats tend to leave them alone. These aren't all the greatest rat pics, but it gives you an idea of how my liners work. They are two layers of fleece fit to my CN trays and sewn together.

Over time (some I have had for over a year and I change them daily) they have become a little kinked but they have held up very well nonetheless. I did try to clip them in at the beginning but the rats saw that as a challenge. The other thing I do is I give them old t-shirts and fleece scraps to nest with in the cage so that they have something to destroy if they wish. You have to be careful with lose threads in anything made of cotton or other woven fibers because rats, especially really young or sick/weak rats, can get seriously injured or killed by them.

Thanks for the tip.
What I´m hoping for, is not having to sew anything..
My aunt did the first two sets, and I doubt she´ll be willing to help me again..
Also, I think my pans are deeper than yours.. It looks like that anyway..
