I was in the kitchen making dinner and heard hubby: "What's going on? What? OH MY GOD COME HERE RHONDA GET IN HERE SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED"
Which is definitely not what any of us want to hear.
So I ran into the livingroom and there was blood EVERYWHERE. All over the couch, all over him... and all over our sweet little Mokey. It looked like her entire leg had been skinned because it was soaked so much - and same with her belly. The very first thing I thought of was the posts I had read about toe injuries and how much everybody said they bled dramatically.
"It's okay, Loren. It's probably just a toe injury. I'll be there in a sec."
You guys kept me calm. :cuddle: And that's what it turned out to be. Fairly sure she got her nail stuck in a blanket and ripped it up. Not pleasant, but looked a LOT worse than it turned out to be.
Poor thing. No pictures, not much to see honestly. We put her in the tub to clean her up and she rested her head on my hand and just stared at me. She didn't squeak at all and when I compressed her foot she just kinda looked at me like "why me?"
Anyways, are her meds okay to give to her tonight or should I hold off? Not sure if any are blood thinners and such. She takes doxy/baytril/pred
