Ushi's eye... looks full of blood??

Ushi is my 2+ year old girl with cataracts in both eyes. I just noticed her left eye is completely blood red instead of milky white with cataract. It doesn't appear to be any larger or anything...

I'm about to leave town for the weekend... Is there anything I need to do? Is this an emergency? My vet isn't in on Fridays, but I can call her at home if it is necessary.

Maya had PT and had a seizure a few hours later, she was pts the next morning

Sebbie had odd eye issues, I kept the eye moist, watched for any real swelling, and it resolved on its own several months later. But yes it can be pretty serious.

Oh man. I wonder if I should take her with me this weekend? That's exactly what her eye looks like.

She's lost a lot of weight lately since her hind-end degeneration has progressed. Other than that, she seems fine.

I had a girl with a cataract and the vet said it could turn red if it gets too dry. I would put drops when it happened. Good luck to your girl.
