Sorry I just cannot go back to that thread. I finally stopped crying over him. But I wanted to post a quick update on my two spayed girls Choxi and Pixie, and my neuter boy Sebastian.
Pixie had me terrified Friday/Saturday. She had the worst owie stretches I have ever seen on a rat. It is by far worse seeing it on on a hairless girl and a baby than a haired girl.........ewww is all i can say. :sick2:
She acted totally fine other than those stretches. She was still trying to pin choxi and she was still eating and drinking fine.
Crappy picture but she is doing well now. No metacam today and no stretches. Choxi is just bouncing around like nothing happened she hasnt had any metacam since yesterday either.
Oh my little sebastian. He reminded me why I had to have them both done. It made me feel a bit better about the death of Fred since seeing Sebastian act this way, he would of had a horrible life if I didnt try. I let them out of the cage for the first time today. Partial due to time and they were still under the weather.
Sebastian hits the floor, instant puffy ball. he has pretty long fur so he looks like a huge puff ball. I tried to give him more out time today since he has be limited due to this attitude problem and the instant fights that happen the second he hits the floor. I am going to have to put him on the floor a lot more, which is a nice switch only one rat out at a time I think maybe he is unsure because it was a major fight if he came out, he is clearly more comfortable in the cage now a days. I think his hormones were just out of control.
He was not impressed LOL I made a wall and you cannot get over my moat!
You can tell how he is not comfortable with the cage being open at all.
My little scruffy headed boy.
Just for giggle one of the other brothers... Angelo only half likes the cube i guess
