Hi I just bought two new baby girl's (their so tiny), and after chasing Aili all over the room (she's a bad girl!) she's now resting with her sister Kaina.
(Had to chose french name's, chance's are their gonna come with me to grand'ma's sometime's)

I'm just wondering now what...it said somewhere once u get new rat's to touch them less as possible the first few day's?
Is that true?

The opposite! Handle them lots, within reason of course. Everything is new to them, so let them know you are a good thing, but not too much of a good thing lol You could always put an old tshirt and sweater on, tuck them in your pants and put the girls in your sweater to bond with you :) They get used to your smell this way!

Personally, I usually leave my guys alone the first day but I do stop at their cage to say hi, pet them and move stuff around with my hands to show them I will go in the cage but not hurt them. The second day, I am hands on and stuffing them down my shirts!

I thought as much!

Is fighting (play fighting) normal?

Babies play fight all the time, I don't know much about females but my boys were always squeeking away and flipping each other over. They are best of buds.

Congrats on your new babies.
Each rat will have their own unique personality so don't worry if one is more out going than the other. Babies play a lot! And you need to be part of that play, get in there an interact with them as much as possible.

I was a little freaked out when I got my baby rat too, cuz he'd jump in a skittery fashion and hop and run around and all that, and at first I thought something was wrong, like he didn't like me or something, but I soon learned he was just playing. I think it's important to interact with them as much as possible. Mine have gotten to the point that when I walk by the cage they're clinging to the bars and staring out at me as if to say "MOM!! HAI!! LET US OUT!!!" lol.

I cut up an old ratty shirt that I wore, that also got them use to my scent (for like when I was sleeping they could still get use to the smell of me and all).

GL with the getting familiar part and all! =D

It's three week's of them being with me and I'm just wondering about their tail's, the grabbing and the yanking.
They still play fight alot but I noticed Aili exploring more and when Kaina want's attention from her she grab's Aili's tail in her mouth and pull's, I saw her once grabbing some of Aili's skin in her mouth and yanked her off the cage bar's.

Now I see small red hole's in their tail, no doubt teeth mark's... is this normal?

I'm not sure about two babies at the same time and what they do, but if one of your rats is being very aggressive, you maybe want to isolate her for a day or something. It sounds like she's being really rough and although it could be normal behavior, you might want to watch it. Pretty much all anyone has ever said to me is if there's no blood, there's no foul- so if the one girl is drawing blood from the other (really sinking in her teeth) she might be having some issues. How big is their cage? Sometimes rats can get pretty territorial, even siblings. But, someone else here will prolly know more than me....
