My girl Chloe, who is 30 to 31 months old developed a mammary tumor my her hid leg 7 months ago. Before deciding on getting it removed or not, we waited to see if it was going to be fast growing, or slow. It turned out to grow really slow, so we decided to leave surgery. Today, 7 months later, the tumor is pretty big, but not huge.. and Chloe is just as active and can keep up and do anything that the younger rats can do. She even runs in her wheel. She still has lots of life to live, even after living with a tumor for 7 months.

Little miss Chloe here, is a prime example of how tumors don't always mean bad things =)

Go Chloe! Do you think you will have it removed if it starts to impact her more? Or are you thinking she's too old? Either way, its good to see her doing well!

At her age, no. Just going to let her enjoy her little old life. Id hate to put her through surgery so old, it would be hard on her, and I don't want her to go like that.
