Booking a vet appointment for my two girl's, just for a check-up...but my question is...how do I transport the babie's to the vet's?
Im maybe planing on purchasing one of those carrier bag!

Buy a small plastic cat carrier with a metal door; put a good blanket or two inside of it for them (or towel, etc.) for warmth and burrowing, and they'll be fine in this. It's good for bringing them anywhere, even if you have to travel with them for a few days. Buy one with enough room for them to move around, for a water bottle, food dish, etc. That should do the trick.

Ya, I second the plastic cat carrier. I bought one of the cutesie little fabric zip-up carriers once. I don't think they offered very good ventilation at all, which was a concern for long trips or visits, and the kiddos eventually chewed a nice little escape hole in the door.

I have a small birdcage that I used when i had to take m girls to the vet, I put some YN on the bottom and hung up their little cube hammock, they just lied in there the whole time. It worked great for it's purposes, but I'm not sure I would use it for any really long trips. I also didn't use a water bottle, cause mine leaks like crazy, so I have them some juicy cucumber for the short drive.

I used my soft-sided dog carrier (designed for taking dogs or cats on airplanes, to put under the seat in front of you). It worked really well, and I'd prefer it to a hard-sided one any day...just seems like a nicer environment for an already scared ratty, softer and smaller than the standard hard sided cat carrier...though I guess it's different if you're just putting them in your car and driving them then. On transit, it'd be pretty impossible to avoid jostling it a bit.

I have a take home carrier that the pet stores sell. I use it when I clean the cages, and going to the vet, etc. I got the biggest one I could find so it can hold all four comfortably, and I love it! Its big enough to hang a small flat hammock in and has a handle so its easy to carry. It is fully wired, which is why I like it better than a cat carrier, so I can check on my guys at a glance while driving, etc, instead of having the crane my neck to look in the door.

This is what I have http://www.superpetusa.com/product-list ... -large.htm

It comes with an optional soft case that it can go into, but i just throw a towel over the cage to keep out the wind and avoid stares on the bus :p

Yes I have my mom that would drive us to the vet, but I do travel mostly by bus also...and some day's I'm sure I will have to take the bus with them.
I love that idea liz! The girl's have no idea what a hammock is for yet, but they love cuddling up in a small basket I got them and hung up in the cage!

I have one of these cages, that I use as a travel cage.

I liner the levels and bridge thing, and put kitty litter in the bottom and take out the house and wheel (because they are too small) and put their big house in it.

I use if for any rescue girls that might be/are pregnant too.

The base is as deep as a kitty litter tray, but its a little longer
