It started out as a bump, yesterday it was a ulcer, here is it today, not sure what to call it or what to do for it, He is on baytril right now so just FYI..

I am not sure how to clean it, what to put on it, or what to do for it.

Looks like a cyst or an abscess...nakies are prone to things like this.

We thought Leo's was a cyst but it turned out to be an abscess. Damp compresses and flushing once it was open cleaned it out and it never recurred. His was on his back.

That looks like a keratin cyst especially since he's a nakkie.

Check out this link. Hope that helps.

As soon as I saw this pictured I remember it LOL

What can i use to flush it? something I can make at home or a run to walgreens? I have plenty of syringes here...

Is there something I can do to help their skin? he seems to be getting those little black head looking things more and more lately. I am not sure if I can wipe them with something daily to help keep their skin a bit cleaner? or if it even helps matters?

You can use warm water with a bit of salt in it to flush it.
My vet had told me to use oatmeal hand creme on the nakies to keep their skin moisturized.

I will do that, we have some that is for sensitive skin for my daughters......

I will get some water ready, i will probably boil it first, our water has a lot of chlorine in it from the tap.

Now I just need to figure out how to hold him long enough for a compress............I havent mastered that art yet..

Thanks for all the help......
