Tiny Abscess?

My nakie man has a tiny red bump on his side. It looks like it could have been a tiny abscess that formed from a scrape or something, he gets them every now and then from his brothers and sisters climbing all over him in the hammocks! lol I've never dealt with an abscess before, so I just wanted to make sure that's what it is and if you think it even needs to be treated? Thanks!

This is the best picture I could get, it looks quite different up close, like more red, raised.

From reading posts around the site for the last little while, it looks like that could be what it is. I'm no pro though, I've never dealt with it before.

Just you...sorry Roo.

It most likely is an abscess...you could use a damp warm compress and see if you can get the infection to the surface.

Nakies are so prone to dermal issues. Treat is as an abscess for now.

Twice a day is good but more is better.

Thanks! I've been doing the warm compress 2-4 times a day for the past few days but didn't even bother this morning. It's shrunken to almost nothing and looks so much better, just a little pink. Thanks everyone!
