The weather is starting to become warmer.
Every summer rats die because they run out of water.

So just a reminder for those who may not be aware, you need to have at least 2 or 3 sources of water in each cage ... 2 or 3 water bottles on your cage and a water dish is a very good idea.
Multiple water bottles are very important as water bottles can become clogged and rats will be unable to get water out of them.
Bottles need to be cleaned and refilled at least once a day.

I've noticed my bowls of water is going faster too. And I'm seeing the rats bathing themselves more often too. I check my bowl twice a day and wash them every day.

I have a water bottle and a bowl. Fresh water in the bowl twice a day, and I change the water bottle once a day.......Fresh water is very important!!!

Thanks for the good reminder, SQ. I've been noticing some of my bottles have slow leaks and need replacing. I keep 3 bottles per cage, which happens to work out right now to one bottle per rat.
