Hands down, Yesterday's News (or similar)! Anything lighter isn't much use in a litter box, as it will all get tossed around, and if you are using litter pans with fleece I can't imagine trying to pick wood shavings out of the fabric! Products like Carefresh and Aspen are more suited to putting as a bedding in the bottom of the cage overall.

But, I think some people might use Carefresh or Aspen as litter pan fodder with good results.

I get it from Petcetera. :) It is roughly the same price as YN. (How long Petcetera will be in business in the future is another matter....)

I like yesterdays news .... not only does it work well but I can buy it at the grocery store.
This is very important to me because I refuse to support pet stores by purchasing anything from them.
I perfer to make all purchases over the internet or from stores that do not sell animals.

I use something different than everyone else seems to... but I love it and for me it has worked better than YN.

I use Healthy Pet Dust Free Fibre litter.

The breeder I got my rats from a couple of years ago told me about it, and I too fell in love.

They sell this at the Global Ryan's in Guelph, Awesome! I'll have to try it.
