At one what point should I have a vet look at their teeth? I am NOT doing it myself, I am too scared and if I hurt them somehow I'd have trouble forgiving myself, ha. I know not all rats will need their teeth trimmed but what are signs I should look for to tell me I should have my vet take a look? I noticed last night that Ben's bottom teeth are getting pretty long. They're straight and nowhere near curling and not cutting into the roof of his mouth or anything and the vet looked at his teeth last week when we were there for the URI. But I wonder at which point I should worry.
Once I noticed Ben's teeth look a little long I checked Toby's (his bff) and they're fine.
