Swelling feet?

Since some of my babies have been having health issues I've started doing body checks 3 times a day and today one of my boys feet seem to be swelling.

Its his two back legs on the bottom of his paws, they have a pinkish color to them like they've been rubbed on and they are puffy.

They are in an 100 gallon critter cage, will be buying a new actual cage with bars next week, the boys love walking around the edge of it. Could that be whats bothering his feet? They were on pine bedding for about 2-3 months when I didn't have them and now there on aspen.


I really need to start using something better then bedding, might try fleece when the new cage arrives.

Some of my older boys have some similar things. I have been watching their feet but nothing comes of it .... I am not sure if it comes with age or it is the start of bumble foot.

Well the thing is he's only 5 months old. Although his family history isn't that good. His mom was bought from a feeder tank because my ex had to have her because she was blue and shes got really bad health, his brother just died and his sisters that are from the same litter as him are way to tiny so i'm scared that maybe its the start of something that was passed down.

I'm probably being paranoid though.
