Could be a number of things...
New home sneezes (like Eagle mentioned above)
or it could be the start of a myco flare-up (very common in rats)
Keep an eye out for extra porphryin around the eyes and nose, heavy breathing, appetite and lethargy.

Sometimes, during the winter with all the heaters on, it can make the air very dry. If you put a SHALLOW dish of water in front of the heaters in your room, that should help with the humidity.

we dont have any heathers in the home, but any ideas to keep it less dry for the babies?

I think she means a source of heat. In the summer months the outside air keeps the inside air at a normal temp, but in the winters we use artificial heat to keep our homes warm. I would try putting a bowl of water by your vents or whatever, we always have wet towels, clothes and such on heaters here to help with the dryness.

Yes. :) Whatever you use as a source of heat for that room.
If you have an extra plate on hand, the water will get evaporated through the air quicker since it is so shallow (which makes for more humidity)
Wet towels and clothes are good idea too!
