This could be the beginning of pneumonia or it could just be nasal. You may try some Benedryl first and see if that helps with the congestion. If it's not better, then you might want to have him checked by a vet, listen to his lungs and get some Baytril if he needs it.
Also... doxy might be helpful when it's a very mild uri.

I wouldn't give her anymore than 0.1 to see if it helps at all and you can give it to her with the meds.

The children's is flavoured so the rats will like it better. Mine gobbled it up like it was candy.

I just gave her 0.1 ml of the children's cherry benadryl and she LOVES it as much as the amoxicillin!!
She was careful to get every little drop she could! LOL!!
Let's watch and see if it helps her!!
