Okay so im posting this here since only one person responded on my other topic. And im worried for my little guy, so here was the only thread.
But he still keeps sneezing, and it seems now its more often, pretty much every time he wakes up. I was able to get a video this morning when i woke up.

Should i make a vet appointment?
[/quote:1mvay3px]Hi guys, my little Thumper seem to be getting worse. He sneezed for the first week or so but thats usually normal with a new home right? But i have had them for two and a half weeks and it seems his 'sneezing' has come back. Im wondering if i should be worried about a respiratory infection and if i should be thinking about a vet appointment.
here is is, http://youtu.be/3_6iJEGPSvw
He only does it after he wakes up and for 10-30 seconds is the usual. so im not sure how much i should be worried.
My big concern is my parents not wanting to take him to a vet to due 100$ bill to get them and everything they need and soon another 75$ bill for a new cage. Plus we have had many expenses in the last 4 months, like my dogs surgery and etc. I didnt know how common the infections where till i joined here, so i would never have known.
Mostly my question is, what does it sound like? Should i be worried? Should i contact my dad (hes away on business) to see if i can bring him to a vet?
Thanks

[quote:1mvay3px]I emailed my dad the information on RI and showed him the video on Thumper and he is fine on taking him to the vet is need be (Thank goodness, specially since he is in Europe right now). I was mostly wondering what should i be looking for in deciding if i should take him or not (what symptoms), i have held him to my ears about three times and sometimes it seems i hear a wheezing/squeaky sound when he breaths, not the whole time though?
He has had Porphyrin around his eyes for a few days (looked like this, but only on one eye http://0.tqn.com/w/experts/Pet-Rats-353 ... around.jpg) , though i have not seen it today, he still eats, plays, is curious and cleans himself.
Thank you for your help.
