So as we know they could not remove the tumor during her spay because it was to much of a risk for her. I haven't seen a tumor shaved before, not sure that many people have but my concern is the brown spot on it? not sure if it is getting annoyed from the shave, or if she is grooming it to much.

It is really odd looking to me........

any idea on the brown spot?

It looks like maybe a scuff from shaving, or a scrape, carpet burn, etc. (From over here, anyway...)

well she just started really moving today, found her trying to climb the cage as usual. She knows it is there and when she lays down, she dont lay on that side, she is always on the other side.

Not sure if she could get some sort of razor burn from the hair growing back in? Should I do something to help ease it so it does not turn into more?

I am not sure how long she needs to recover from her spay before we could do this surgery? any ideas?

I just dont want it to rupture or break open while i wait for her to recover from one surgery till we can do this one.

Could another rat be grooming her?

I just put her back with her girls yesterday, and it started in her hospital cage.

Kait said it feels rough.....I am just afraid with the tumor, it will break open or make it worse.

It may be raw because it's constantly rubbing on something, either the ground, her foot when she's grooming, or something else. I'm sure some sort of moisturizing ointment would help. The tumour doesn't look like it's about to burst and there doesn't seem to be a lot of blood supply.

That is what I was avoiding LOL but it looks like it is scabbing up like an abscess today it is an actual sore looking thing. I am not sure how much time she need to recover from the spay before i can put her in.

I have two spays that I must get done first then her tumor.
