Sick rats?

Hello everyone.
I have a really horrible sinus infection right now but since it is viral there is no medication for it. My partner has been feeding and caring for the rats but I would like to know if they could catch my cold. they arent sick like or sneezing hut my one rat in particular is really missing me butIm worried about making her sick if I bring her to cuddle.with.me.

The only thing that rats can catch from humans is Streptococcus pneumonia. It is a very severe Pneumonia. Other than that they cannot catch anything from people or you from them.

Go ahead and cuddle your sweeties. Streptococcus pneumonia is not all that common and not what we call walking pneumonia. Walking pneumonia is actually mycoplasma pneumonia in humans.
