Things have been changing in my cage.. powers shifting. my alpha is now sundae who as turned into a giant jerk and my hooded boys meanwhile are still not the nicest... (i call them the hooded gang)

Meanwhile gizmo and milo seem to have found a happy medium with the older two but they still squabble and rufus my poor naked boy is so nervous he's the first to get picked on... last night there were horrible squabbles a couple times and i don't understand why? two weeks ago everyone was peachy...

The clan has been the same for at least a month and a half now... can't figure out why my cage is like two gangs... .the mean boys and the nice boys

is this normal?

Sounds normal too me. They just have to work it all out. As long as there is no blood it's fine. Scamp has been living with the monsters for 4 months ..and they all still have their squables.

Your cage is big enough for all the males?

If so, then I'd say it's normal. You'll go through a lot of these. They'll settle and then become unsettled, then settle again and again and again.

I have my six boys in my double ferret nation. They have plenty of room to get away from each other. Its never just one boy... In the "hooded gang" my two oldest are about a year old and sundae is about 6 months.. None of them are neutered. Sundae has a bite on his belly...

My guess is the bite came from Rufus who is picked on ALL the time

Ya, that's big enough so this is just something that will be happening on occasion. I'd just let them be unless it gets too much out of hand.

Squabbles and pushing around can be expected, and roles in the cage can change often especially if someone in the crew isn't happy with the new hierarchy.

My kids have nights where there's horrible screeches for a couple of days and then everyone is smiles and sunshine for a few weeks, and I've got females and neutered boys so I can't even blame it on too much testosterone flinging around.
