My rat Pepper is now 3 and last week she really started to act weird, her favourite time is when she comes out and runs around but she sits in the corner instead, no she is not alone she has a cage buddy and a huge cage, but she stays in the one area. I am getting very worried about her because she is not herself. And no she is not sick as far as i can tell. What do you think?

Is she able to eat and hold food with her paws? Has she been able to drink?
Any other symptoms you've noticed, like hard breathing, excessive porphyrin, sneezing, coughing, or lung sounds on the ratty telephone?

She's an old girl and might be nearing the end of her life but you can try and make things more comfortable for her, make sure she's hydrated enough and have a good listen to her lungs, make sure she doesn't have a touch of infection.
