Hello all.

Just wondering if any of you have something in your cages to help our rats keep their nails trim... i'm not sure how long they should get before they are officially 'trimmed' and i dread doing it. I was hoping there would be a magical answer that will keep them trim. I had heard of stone or brick being used... but not sure. can't find anything specific in the pet store.

Some people do use a stone or brick. I don't...but I don't trim their nails either, not unless they are hurting themselves or it starts to curve inward.
