So when I came to check on Star there was a lot of blood in her cage, at first i though it was her leg (blood was on it) and Star and Ruby had a fight but when I looking at her mouth it was all red from blood. I have no idea why. I have basketball practice soon so I can't take her to the vet. Her fur is rough and poofy, and she is very calm. I don't think she'll make it through the night. :sad3: I really need your guys' help i'm really frantic!
sorry if you don't understand this i'm typing really fast, because i'm so worried!

Take her to a good rat vet now.
She is more important then basketball practice.

Is she still bleeding? If so the bleeding needs to be stopped ....
Is her tongue injured?
Pictures?
Breathing?

How is she doing? Best case scenario, she bit her tongue. You need to keep her warm and hydrated.
A vet would be her best chance.

I hate to say this but your rat has gone through multiple "serious circumstances" and you always say she's dying, but we've never ever even seen a pic of her. Can you at least do that?

She's fine again - her mouth cleared up, and she's as active as usual. But why was her mouth bloody? Could her tooth poke her? (her mouth is still funny but other then that is %100) Did she have another stoke? and her possibly biting her self?
Thanks

All I can say is you would be surprised how much something like a cut tongue can bleed. But if you say her mouth isn't really normal yet, you should post a picture.

If there is a problem with her mouth, then you need to take her to see a good vet knowlegable about rats.
A vet can examine her and let you know if she needs antibiotics, etc
and if there is a serious problem or not.

She has gone through a lot and should be seen by a good vet to ensure she is recieving whatever health care she needs

My mom finally is letting me take her to the vet some time tomorrow! i'm doing my best to get a picture but 1) it's hard to get her to sit still and 2) I'm not exactly sure how to do it. Thanks!
