My rat kamile is Since I bought her from PetCo she will be at least 30 months old (since being with me)on October 3rd I did not know her age when I 1st got her so she is probably older. I just want to know when to expect signs of old age She is still as nimble and energetic as the 1st day I brought her home as of now.

Wow 30 months and no signs of aging is really impressive! I knwo with my girl, she showed no signs of aging then one day jsut started gasping fro age then went down hill really fast : ( went from perfectly healthy to gone in less then a month. But her sister is still super healthy and not acting odl at all. It really depends on the rat. Good luck with your girl :D

It will vary from rat to rat. I had boys who were related and we lost them around 20 months old. I have girls who are around 31 months old now and looks perky as can be but the girl 2 to 3 months younger than her looks older than her. Sadly they dont live a whole lot past these ages. Some can make it older but it is rare.

yeah she has always been very active the rest of my rats got fat and lazy and passed around 23 months but kamile just runs around all day tearing up new box's i put in there for her lol she is constantly kicking her litter and making a mess very funny to watch. Yeah I know they don't live long near this age which is why I wanna know when to expect loss of appetite and such I remember I had to feed my other girl baby food Because she was to weak to eat Solid food. For her "birth day" per say She will be getting a Tiny slice Of carrot cake

It definitely depends on each rat. I've had rats live to 45 months. While others were old at 24 months.
There are many factors that can affect the lifespan of a rat, genetics of course, but also, good nutrients, a healthy social environment, mental and physical stimulation and a big clean habitat.

Average life span seems to be 2 to 2.5 years.
Some rats have much shorter or much longer life spans.
There are many factors involved, some within our control (such as diet, environment, health care) and many beyond our control as pet owners (such as genetics, prenatal nutrition, conditions prior to adoption)
