Rat terrified in cage?

Does she have a hidey house and a hammock? Some rats do not like to be alone so if she is alone that could be part of the reason she isnt a fan of the cage.

Where is the cage located? Are there any other pets around that might scare her? Once a member had her rat really scared and she later realized a nearby balloon was the cause. It could be something as simple as that. My sister had scared rats in their cage until she moved the cage to another area of the room.
