Rat Mites and Beaphar spot on anti parasite treatment - UK

Ive just worked out my boys arent attacking eachother at night they have mites, im going to pets at home tonight to get them some 'Beaphar - Anti-parasite spot on treatment'
Can anyone give me tips or advice on using this ? my rats are both over the 350gm weight suggested by the pets at home lady and they are approx 3 months old at least so pretty well grown now, please help i want to relieve their irritation asap :sad3:

Are you able to get Stronghold at all? I beleive that's the UK equivalent of Revolution. Its literally a 1 drop treatment and you're done.

Spot-ON is Ivermectin, and you need to give it 3 times once a week. Scrub the cage and toys, throw out any paper things, freeze any wood toys/items for at least 48 hours, and wash any fabrics in hot water. Everyweek after you dose them.

trying to find a pdsa in my area thats open late what with work but nothing available so had heard about the beaphar and thought id go get some tonight and freeze all the toys and bedding and give the cage a good scrub too
