I was reading in a ratty book that galvanized metal is bad for rats. I have a CN cage. Looked all over box but it doesnt say whether or not it is galvanized metal. Anyone know? Im assuming its not galvanized metal but I just want to be sure.

your CN is NOT galvanized...it's powder coated metal

I'd read somewhere when I first got rats that it could cause zinc poisoning but I'm not sure how true that is. It is horrible though because it soaks up their urine and is impossible to keep clean, meaning their habitat is much less healthy than it should be.
